Mr. Francis Lora, MSSW, LCSW-R, SIFI, CFSW earned his Masters of Science (MS) in Social Work in Advanced Generalist Practice and Programming (AGPP) from the Columbia University School of Social Work (CUSSW), with the skills necessary to provide direct clinical services, to develop and evaluate setting appropriate programming, as well as to play an administrative role in the development and implementation of programs and services. Also at CUSSW, he received extensive exposure to clinical work and training in Life Coaching from Professor Katherine Gordy Levine through her Emotional Fitness Training eventually specializing in the area of Life Transitions, Life Changes, and Rites of Passage. Francis has worked both at inpatient settings including Bronx State Psychiatric Center's (BPC) Monolingual Spanish Unit and New York State Psychiatric Institute's(NYSPI) Washington Heights Community Services (WHCS) Unit and outpatient settings including Steinway Child and Family Services(SCFS), Metropolitan Center for Mental Health (MCMH), FEGS's South Bronx Counseling Center, and Inwood Community Services, INC's "Alicia M. Ferrer Mental Health Clinic (AMFMHC) where he worked as a bilingual therapist providing services to Individuals ranging from age 6 to 66 with problems ranging from general unease to Clinical Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia.
